The unofficial capital of Cornish Surfing is also the South Coast’s busiest town. Newquay is surrounded by 11    magnificent beaches with Fistral beach being the most  famous for surfing. Newquay’s town centre has plenty to offer with a high street like no other, spanning the whole length of the town, dotted with individual shops and specialist shops.  There are many places to eat to suit everyone’s tastes from cosy cafes, to beach bars and traditional fish and chip restaurants.

Our excursion takes us to the picturesque fishing town of Padstow. Padstow has a colourful working harbour which is surrounded by medieval houses. In the town you will find local craft and gift shops, artist’s studios, book shops and many more. Why not indulge yourselves in one of the restaurants run by celebrity chefs such as Rick Stein or Jamie Oliver who both  have world class reputations. Alternatively there are plenty of tea rooms, pubs and harbour side cafes offering delicious home cooked meals and traditional fish and chips.
